HALF TERM HOLIDAY!!
Half term holiday kicks off on the 30th May for a week. The dutch house is open on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May then re-opens Wednesday to Sunday as normal. We have lots on offer from our Ecological Gardens, Plants Courtyard, Art Cafe and Kunsthuis Gallery across the courtyard.
Let’s hope for a sunny bank holiday weekend so you can enjoy the stunning views of Crayke and the Yorkshire Countryside. You can enjoy a scenic 2.5 mile circular walk starting on our premises or get your kids engaged in wildlife through adventure trails in our garden. Click here to download the leaflet: CraykeWalkFC
This beautiful landscape offers a chance for visitors of all ages to find out more about sustainable gardening as well as enjoying the peaceful tone with the perfect backdrop of the Yorkshire countryside. The featured wildlife meadow area is seeded with native wildflower and creates a splash of colour throughout the summer. Moreover, the vegetable and scented areas to the plot offer raised beds which provide a good opportunity for our visitors to have a closer look within and experience how these plants form an important part of our lives. We aim to grow a good mixture of old and new vegetables which are fully utilised in our cafe alongside herbs from our herb border, some of which are Mediterranean in origin but all add to the culinary experience.
Lots to enjoy as well as the new exhibition opening in Kunsthuis Gallery.
